Basically self raising flour is normal white all purpose (plain flour called around here) with higher Sodium / salt content. My packaging mentiones 845mg – milligrams – of sodium per 100g – grams. And added into the mix is also a raising agent, sodium bicarbonate and thiamine. I did a quick research on this and the numbers as per the SR flour I have at home worked out well.
